Quality 16-year-old breeding/recreation mare

Catinka is a 16-year-old mare (turning 16 in June) with a great sporting history and a lot of quality. She has jumped 1.25m internationally and has also competed in dressage up to L2+11. A mare with scope, mindset, and a willing character.

She is a daughter of the talented Calido I, which underlines her sporting talent and blood type.

Catinka is not suitable for a beginner or insecure rider. She has a lot of blood, is sensitive, and can be sharp. In the right hands, she is an honest mare who enjoys working for you and appreciates clarity, calm, and trust. She is best suited for an experienced rider who knows how to appreciate quality and has no need for sporting ambitions.

Due to a tendon injury in 2024, she is no longer intended to return to intensive (jumping) sport. She is currently shod in front with pads and silicone and functions well within her current management.

Catinka is very social and gets along well with other horses.

Besides recreational riding, she is also interesting for breeding. Her uterus has been checked and found to be in good condition. Three independent veterinarians and an osteopath indicate that she most likely had a foal in the past; however, no official registration can be found. This makes her an interesting option for someone looking for a mare with sporting blood and presumed breeding experience.

Catinka needs to be put back into work. We have just started this process.
