Some ponies have something special from the very beginning.
Christijan Dior is such a pony.

As the first son of our mare Janneke, he clearly inherited her fine character: gentle, reliable, and pleasant to handle, combined with just enough character and presence. A pony that is not only beautiful to look at, but above all, wonderful to work with every day.

His training has been built up calmly and carefully. Breaking him in began with extensive ground work, trust, and clear communication. From there, he was further developed with trail rides, riding among other ponies, dressage work, small jumps, and various cross-country obstacles. In doing so, he shows himself to be remarkably level-headed and cooperative.

In daily handling as well, Christijan proves to be a very fine pony. He remained a stallion until he was over three years old, and during that time, he always remained correct and easy to handle. He functions socially in the group and adapts easily within the herd.

Over the past few months, he has been further competed by Lynn. Together, they have gained competition experience in dressage, jumping, and at practice crosses. Although he has only had limited official starts, he has already achieved an L1 classification with 4 winning points.

Christijan Dior is thus a young pony with a very complete foundation. He knows a lot, learns quickly, and has the attitude you like to see in a sport pony for the future.

He always does his best, learns new things quickly, and picks everything up easily. He loves variety; jumping, dressage, pole work, cross-country, or working in hand—he enjoys it all. He is also nice to ride on foreign terrain and pleasant to take to new places. He can sometimes experience some tension, but this quickly dissipates, and he remains nice to ride. In handling, he is sweet and pleasant, although he occasionally still needs some consistent guidance. He has a nice bit of spirit but remains honest and reliable in his work.
