Experienced gelding Z2-allrounder Tobi is looking for a five-star home due to emigration.

Tobi is only for sale because we are moving abroad. We have only had him since November 2025 and would have loved to keep him. Due to our emigration, we are unfortunately forced to find a new home for him already. There is absolutely no other reason for the sale.

Sweet, experienced, and versatile pony

Tobi is an incredibly sweet, experienced, and versatile pony. He has just turned 17, but you would absolutely not tell. He is fit, enthusiastic, and is still ridden three to four times a week.

With his previous owner, where he stayed for no less than nine years, Tobi competed in Z2 dressage and M jumping. In the further past, he also did eventing. We ourselves have mainly ridden him recreatively and followed private lessons with him. He still really enjoys making a small jump; we ourselves have jumped up to about 70 centimeters with him.

We have owned Tobi for 9 months but have not competed with him. However, he has been ridden consistently and properly. At the moment, he is being ridden two to three times a week by our twenty-year-old co-rider, among others.

Tobi is nice to ride for someone who already has a bit of experience. A novice rider can also ride him, provided there is good guidance. Because of his experience, he can teach his rider a lot; all the "buttons" are there.

Forest rides, traffic, and lessons

With Tobi, you can enjoy the outdoors. He is great in the forest, traffic-safe, and used to dogs. We have also taken him to riding school lessons, where he behaved perfectly among the other ponies.

He is sweet with children and stands quietly and well at the grooming area. Tobi has no stable vices, no known injuries, does not use medication, and has no other known particulars.

Health and maintenance

Tobi was clinically and partially radiologically approved at the time of our purchase in November 2025. The inspection report is available and can be viewed if there is serious interest.

He recently had his vaccinations and has been to the dentist recently. The farrier comes every two months and was here last week. Tobi is barefoot (no shoes).

Trailer loading and transport

Tobi can travel alone on the trailer. With his previous owner, trailer loading was not a problem. With us, loading is currently less easy and requires calmness and patience. We want to be honest about this. We think this is mainly because we ourselves have little experience with loading horses. For someone who handles this calmly, clearly, and with experience, we expect this to be easily resolved.

Together with his best friend Rocky

Tobi lives with us together with our Shetlander Rocky in a run-in stable with a spacious meadow. They each have their own stable and are truly best friends. The two are very attached to each other, and therefore we would very much like them to move to their new home together.

Rocky will be given for free with Tobi to the right home.

Asking price and equipment

The asking price for Tobi is € 7,995.

The saddle, bridle, blankets, and other associated items can be taken over in consultation. We are happy to look at this together with the final buyer.

Only a permanent five-star home

For Tobi and Rocky, we are looking exclusively for a loving, suitable, and permanent five-star home with sufficient outdoor space, good care, exercise, and personal attention.

Tobi will not go to a dealer or a riding school. We reserve the right to choose carefully where he ends up. Finding the right place for both ponies is more important to us than a quick sale.

Due to our holiday, we are currently somewhat less accessible. We are therefore organizing a viewing day on August 1st by appointment. The transfer can take place from August 20th.
